LET'S TIME TRAVEL IN FRANCE ~ TEMPS DEPLACONS~NOUS A` TRAVERS LA FRANCE

PLEASE TRAVEL WITH ME THROUGH TIME AND SPACE TO VISIT THREE OF MANY OF MY MOST FAVORITE AND RANDOM PLACES AND/OR PEOPLE OF MY ADOPTED COUNTRY. I HOLD NO GRUDGES!

I HAVE MY HAT ON AND I AM READY TO GO!  ARE YOU?  ALLEZ!

~  HOLD ON TIGHT BECAUSE THE TIME TUNNEL IS A WILD RIDE!

WE SHALL START IN THE SOUTH OF FRANCE AND THEN TRAVEL NORTH ~  ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLACES IN THE WORLD AND WHAT WILL IN THE FUTURE BE ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VILLAGES IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!...EZE...

THE AREA SURROUNDING EZE WAS FIRST POPULATED AROUND 2000 B.C. AND LATER INHABITED BY THE ROMANS, MOORS, PHOENICIANS, TURKS AND FRENCH.
This medieval village is famous for its beauty and charm.  The motto of the village is Isis Moriendo Renascor (meaning "In Death I am Reborn") and its emblem is a phoenix perched on a bone.
Eze has been described as an "eagle's nest" becuase of its location overlooking a high cliff 1400 feet above sea level on the French Mediterranean.
The architecture is simply incredible and almost Babylonian.  Chateau de la Chevre D'Or (Chateau of the Golden Goat) is a 36-room medieval fairytale castle for guests.

LET'S FAST FORWARD (IN TIME AND SPACE) TO CHATEAU CHENONCEAU,  KNOWN ALSO AS LA CHATEAU DE LES FEMME...IN THE LOIRE VALLEY.

The Chateau was built on the site of a mill on the River Cher, sometime before its first mention in writing in the 11th century.

After being rebuilt several times over hundreds of years, Henry II offered the Chateau as a gift to his mistress, Diane de Poitiers.  She become fervently attached to the Chateau along the river.

Diane de Poitiers was the unquestioned mistress of the castle, but ownership remained with the crown until 1555, when years of delicate maneuvers finally yielded possession to her.  However, after King Henry II dies in 1559, his strong-willed widow and regent Catherine de'Medici forced Diane to exchange it for the Chateau Chaumont.  Queen Catherine then made Chenonceau her own favorite residence, adding a new series of gardens.

In 1560, the first ever fireworks display seen in France took place during the celebrations marking the ascension to the throne of Catherine's son Francis II.   Above are the women whose names are associated with Chenonceau Chateau de Les Femmes.

ONE LAST TIME THROUGH THE TUNNEL OF TIME AND SPACE TO MEET  JEAN-BAPTISTE POQUELIN A.K.A. AND BY HIS STAGE NAME MOLIERE, BORN JANUARY 15, 1622.

MOLIERE WAS AND/OR IS A FRENCH PLAYWRIGHT AND ACTOR WHO IS CONSIDERED TO BE ONE OF THE GREATEST MASTERS OF COMEDY IN WESTERN LITERATURE.

THROUGH THE PATRONAGE OF A FEW ARISTOCRATS, INCLUDING PHILIPPE I, DUKE OF ORLEANS, THE BROTHER OF LOUIS XIV, (MY, AS YOU SAY, FATHER-IN-LAW) MOLIERE PROCURED A COMMAND PERFORMANCE BEFORE THE KING AT THE LOUVRE.

Later, Moliere was granted the use of the Palais-Royal.   This royal favor brought a royal pension to his troupe and the title "Troupe du Roi" (The King's Troupe).  Moliere continued as the official author of court entertainments.

MARCH ~ FROM MADNESS TO ECSTASY

MARS ~ DE LA FOLIE A L'EXTASE

The Pisces New Moon of March 11 offers exceptional opportunities for profound insights, deep healing and major shifts in consciousness.  Neptune, Mercury, Chiron, Venus, the Sun, Moon and Mars are all in Pisces, forming a huge celestial doorway into higher dimensional realms.
~ Stephanie Austin

The Constellation Pisces

In psychological terms, Pisces represents the collective unconscious, the archetypal and primordial realms, as well as the dreamworld, imagination, fantasy, and the gamut of human emotions.
For more of Stephanie Austin, see THE MOUNTAIN ASTROLOGER (www.mountainastrologer.com).
Pisces rules illusion, glamour, art, feet, dance, film, ocean, liquids, escapism, among others.

Pisces Elizabeth Taylor

Pisces takes us into our sixth sense, where mysticism and quantum physics meet, where nothing is solid and everything is connected.  Every culture and religion has its name for this greater reality ~ the Great Spirit, the Tao, the Force, Buddah, Brahman, Allah, God, Source, etc.
The Hand of God

Neptune, the modern ruler of Pisces and the mythic God of the Sea, provides instructive metaphors for this fluid and ethereal territory.  Like a drop of water, we eternally emerge and dissolve, momentarily an individual expression of the Oneness but never truly separate.  Water, like emotions, can be calm, stormy, and everything in between.  Feelings ebb and flow.  Grief comes in waves.  We are sometimes misty, swamped, lost at sea.  When the fog rolls in, we have to use our sixth sense, intuiting our way.

Pisces takes us into transpersonal territory, far beyond logic and the limits of the mind, into the depths and mysteries of the heart.  In Pisces, we realize that we are multi-dimensional beings and that the gateway to higher dimensions is unconditional love.  We are sometimes unable to see that we are swimming in an ocean of unconditional love.

How do we explore and navigate this mysterious realm in safe and healthy ways?  Through meditation, prayer, contemplation, reading, dreamwork, art, music, dance, gardening, being in nature, silence, gratitude, doing things we love and using your intuition.

 ~ Greek Proverb

"When I saw you I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew."
~ William Shakespeare

"Two lips in bloom
They are finally ready to act when words fail
To do what their hearts desire
Ready to meet for the first time
And with this one kiss love begins tonight
This one kiss amidst the tulips."

"Seduce my mind and you can have my body,
Find my soul and I am yours forever."

"I have found the one whom my soul loves."
~ Song of Solomon 3:4

"i carry your heart with me (i carry it in my heart)
i am never without it (anywhere i go you go, my darling;
and whatever is done by only me is your doing, my dear)
i fear no fate
(for you are my fate, my sweet)
i want no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud and the sky of the sky
of a tree called life; which grows higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)
